Description
Evans Superseal is a polyurethane floor seal for use on internal wooden and concrete flooring. The extremely hard-wearing floor seal is ideal for heavy traffic areas; protecting floors from moisture, grease, ingrained dirt and stains whilst providing a slip resistant, high gloss finish. Evans Superseal will enhance the look and colour of natural wood.
Superseal also works as a base for porous wooden and concrete flooring on which you can apply emulsion floor polish.
How to use Evans Superseal
Apply to a new or untreated wooden floor. Alternatively remove existing seal & ensure floor is clean & dry.
Apply two or three thin coats of undiluted Superseal with a seal applicator or a clean soft brush. Allow each coat of sealer to dry for 8 hours, although 24 hours is preferable. Additional coats can be applied if required. Sanding in between coats is not necessary, but a light sand with a medium grade floor pad will help key the surface if a 3rd or 4th coat is applied.
After the final coat, leave for 24 hours before subjecting to traffic, 24 hours before cleaning & 7 days before applying emulsion floor polish.
DO NOT apply to a newly laid concrete floor, allow 6 months for moisture to evaporate and to avoid the possibility of the seal flaking.
Coverage per 5 litres – up to 25 square metres for 2 coats.
